Children’s home Bolle, Berlin 2011

In Germany, more than 2.5 million children live in poverty. A good education often seems to be the only way out of this one-way street.  To increase the chances of these kids to lead a self-determined life, the association Straßenkinder e.V. founded the Kinder- und Jugendhaus Bolle (children’s home) in April 2010.

At Bolle, kids do not just receive a warm meal but are also prepared for exams or even receive free tutorials if necessary. A rich offer of leisure activities promotes creativity and improves the kids’ social skills.

Last year, Charity Cat, a non profit made up of PUMA employees from Herzogenaurach, made an individual contribution and donated €1.500,- which was then used to buy Christmas presents for the kids.
